2018 saw horizons expand for 243. The brand new Squadron Marksmanship Team competed at the regional level, while 243 Ogopogo saw a cadet progress the the provincial effective speaking competition! Meanwhile, the Squadron Drill team won top category place in a regional drill competition!

243 Ogopogo celebrates its 50th Anniversary, marking a new chapter in its growth and development. The Squadron hosts about 50 cadets, continuing to serve the community and create leaders.
243 Ogopogo is re-established by Mr. Gordon Gray, Mr. Arthur Hughes-Games, and Mr. Bill Cleaver, laying the foundation for its continued success.
