The Air Cadet program is funded by the Department of National Defence and the basic program is offered at no charge.
The Air Cadet League of Canada is a civilian organization that augments and partners with the Department of National Defence to enhance the cadet program by supplying powered aircraft, gliders, band equipment, training courses and many other activities. In order to fund these items, the Squadron asks for all Cadets to participate in the various fundraising activities that we hold throughout the year. |
There are no costs to join and participate in the Air Cadet program. To help sustain enhanced program opportunities, families are encouraged to support fundraising efforts as they are able, alongside their Cadets.
Cadet uniforms and all cadet activities are provided at no additional cost to the cadets including 2, 3, 6 and 7-week summer training courses (in fact cadets are paid a $60/week training bonus while at summer training!). |
